What is Coaching?

Coaching is a powerful, professional partnership which helps individuals and organizations to produce more satisfying results in their work and lives.  As a result of coaching, clients set better goals, take more action, make better decisions and more fully use their natural strengths.

Professional coaches are trained to ask great questions, to listen and observe closely and to elicit strategies and action plans from the client.  Coaches help people to stay focused and hold people accountable to achieve an important goal or vision for their lives.

How Does Coaching Work?

Coaching is a personal and customized arrangement.  We will design a coaching arrangement that meets your needs and schedule.  Typically, I work with clients in the following ways:

  • an initial two hour session to create a coaching arrangement, based upon assessment and clarifying goals
  • regular on-going coaching sessions, in person or by phone
  • unlimited e-mail and phone calls between sessions
Coaching session are usually scheduled three times a month, lasting one hour.  Together we will design the length and frequency that best supports you.
