My Coaching Practice..

As a Coach, I work with individuals on all the things that matter most to them- their success in work and life.  After a long and successful career in consulting and Human Resources management in small and large companies, I knew I wanted to follow my passion- to work one on one with individuals and with groups to help them create the kind of work and life experience that provides the deepest meaning and rewards. I am committed to working with people to increase their happiness and satisfaction in their work and life and to become excellent at what they do.

As an Executive Coach I am a leadership specialist.   I  work with executives and other leaders to refine and hone their leadership skills to lead effectively in the complex organizations and business environments of today.  I work with leaders to develop needed skills that provide a benefit to their company and increased opportunities for them.

As a Career Coach, I help individuals to examine their lives and to determine the source of their greatest energy and interest.  I work with people to move through job and workplace transitions and to handle change with flexibility and grace - and to make positive and life enhancing decisions.

I work with corporate and private clients, including executives, managers, individual contributors and professionals in transition.

In addition to being an executive coach, I am a writer and a student of yoga and meditation.  I enjoy travel and discovering more about this amazing world and its people.
 

Before Coaching Professionally...

I bring more than thirty years of business experience to my coaching clients, having held leadership roles in many organizations.  I have first hand experience in helping individuals to be more effective in their work and in their lives. I served as the top Human Resources executive for Premera Blue Cross, Restaurants Unlimited and Merrill Lynch Family Life Insurance. As a result I have coached and mentored numerous business leaders and their professional staffs on leadership skills. I have a practical knowledge of what it takes to be successful in today’s world. 

I have an extensive background in management and organizational consulting, having served as a Manager and consultant with Deloitte for a number of years.   In this capacity I consulted with business and governmental clients on complex business issues. I have demonstrated hands on experience in working across a number of industries and with a variety of clients.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Certificate in  Career Counseling from the  University of Washington. 

I am a graduate of Corporate Coach University (CCU) and have met the requirements for certification from the International Coach Federation. (ICF). 

I am known as an energetic and engaging speaker and have spoken to local and national conferences on executive coaching and human resources topics.
